HomeFirst Plus

HomeFirst Plus is a not‑for‑profit housing organisation in Somerset, transforming empty and underused properties into safe, high‑quality homes. With over 25 years of experience, we work with property owners, partners, and local authorities to bring neglected homes back into use and strengthen local housing supply.

Thousands of properties across Somerset stand empty, often becoming costly liabilities. We turn these buildings into valuable assets—providing refurbishment, compliance support, and full property‑management services that help owners reduce costs, generate income, and support their communities.

We also deliver a wide range of home improvement, maintenance, and accessibility services. From small repairs through our Handyperson Service to major renovations and specialist adaptations, our team helps households across Somerset live safely and independently.

Guided by our ethos, “Where we can – we will,” we’re committed to making a real difference—unlocking the potential of homes and helping communities thrive.
